Motoring Offence Fees
Whilst we are aware that there are specific charges for driving offences, when you appoint SOYS to deal with your case, we look at all of the details you provide to us, which will help us manage your case and provide the best possible outcome for you. Each case is considered fully based on the information you provide to us. It is important that you provide as much information as you can to us so that we can consider what is important to the case. Please note that we do charge a fixed fee to deal with your claim but, if you wish to work your case in each stage, please ask us for a breakdown and we will work with you to provide staged costs.

The fees specified above are subject to change based on the complexity of the case and should be used as a general guide. When you contact us and explain your case, we will provide an initial assessment and will generally charge a fixed fee for the work which we carry out based on the details you have provided. However, in some instances, when the case becomes more complex, we may need to review the fees but we will always discuss this with you and agree the costs before we undertake any work on your behalf.
You will also be responsible for any expenses that are incurred in representing you following a motoring offence – these are called disbursements and include Barristers fees or any expert fees required to support your defence and representation at Court. These will be confirmed to you as soon as possible when instructing SOYS.
We also cannot guarantee that there will be just one Court hearing but will work with you to ensure that your case is concluded expeditiously and there are no avoidable delays.
